303-13-14–the distribution

a. Several confectioners of mass-produced products manufacture bags of candy that contain candies of different colors. Do a little bit of research about one of these brands/products to see how they determine the distribution of colors into one bag. If you were to purchase a bag of plain M&Ms, what would you expect to see? What factors would affect the product you received? Do you care if you received more red M&Ms than orange? What about Starburst? Would you care if you received more red than orange? If you and a friend each purchased a bag of candy, how might you compare the contents? What would be a good way to do this graphically? With hypothesis testing?
