Assignment One: Infants and toddlers are just gaining their social skills. It is the time when adults really need to be guiding children and providing them with the tools to learn different social skills.
Step 1:
- Using the CSEFEL website ( http://csefel.vanderbilt.edu), goto the the resources for Teachers/Caregivers and look at the materials available.
Step 2:
- Reviewed the different items
- Pick one and create an activity that you could do with a group of older infants/toddlers or two year olds to support learning about social skills.
Step 3:
- Please describe in detail the activity (use the form provided):
- The age of the child(ren)
- The group size IE: an individual activity, small group, large group
- The specific social skill that will be introduced and why is it developmentally appropriate for the age
- Detailed description of the activity and how this specific activity will support learning of social skills
Step 4:
- Submit fully completed activity form

Step 1:
- Review the information from the text and week 13 folder
Step 2:
- Look at photos that are provided of infant and toddler environments (will send via chat)
Step 3:
- Based on the photos (will send via chat
- Identify which photo you are using to answer the questions by including the number next to the question ( you can use multiple photos to answer the questions)
- Provide support for your answers using material from Week 13 (attached)
