This assignment is for people that are familiar with early childhood development. For this Preschool assignment you will be conducting and assessment on a preschool child age 3 years old .For this assignment use the DRDP PowerPoint Template to record the 1st of notes: Anecdotal record must be used for 1st set of notes 1 anecdotal note/document for each measure, in a total of 29 measures in the DRDP PPT template. You are only doing the 1st set of notes not the 2nd set . You must include the 6 domains in notes. You can make up a child or use your own child ,or a child that is 3 years old as you compose anecdotal recording.

Domains In the area of early childhood education, it includes physical development and health, literacy knowledge and skills, language development, social and emotional development, and mathematics knowledge and skills.

You are only doing the 1st set of notes not the 2nd set .

Recap of assignment

You must record a complete anecdotal note for each measure in the six domains. You will have in a total of 29 anecdotal notes. Please review how to write the correct Anecdotal recording. Also, pay attention to what needs to be included when writing the notes.

Here are the types of methods (Remember to label/identify each type before recording)

Anecdotal notes, photos, work samples, checklists, frequency counts, time samples, rating scales, etc.

Note: You may not use video or Audio… Video and Audio methods are not allowed!!!!!!

Include the “context” (location and what was going on at the time)

Remember: be accurate, objective, and specific.

Remember: Who, Where, When, What and How

Ask yourself: If others observed this event, would they write down the same thing as I have written down? Am I writing this note in a way that if I was to read it to someone else, could they close their eyes and accurately picture what happened?
