2. Interpret the impact of risk and return relationships in financial decision making
3. Interpret the capital structure decision and the use of leverage
4. Understand the fundamentals of mergers and acquisitions (Lafarge is merging with Holcim) give some information on Holcim. Example- stock, size of Holcim, and what this merger will do for both companies.
5. Relate the principles of financial management in the context of international business seeing how both Lafarge and Holcim are global companies
