The aspect I chose for this essay is: What are effective ways of dealing with “online trolling” or cyber-bullying.

So part of the essay is to inform the readers about the topic, but the other part- the larger part- is meant to provide an opinion about the topic. To evaluate the topic, we must criteria, certain factors or standards against which we can measure our topic. Common criteria might include the usefulness of your topic, the benefits and drawbacks, the interface (how easy it is to use), the reliability, and so on. Be sure to clearly state both the criteria and how well your topic measures up to the criteria in your essay.Remember, academic writers approach their topics with an open mind looking for answers, not with a preconceived opinion upon which they build their argument. An open mind leads to new discoveries, a predetermined thesis leads to stagnation.
